MEET DANIEL

Daniel, LMFT

In-Person in Folsom & Online across California

Most guys I work with didn't ask to come to therapy. They're usually here because someone is frustrated with their grades, their attitude, or their screens. My goal is to make our sessions a space where you don't have to pretend everything is fine, but you also won't be interrogated.

SESSION EXPERIENCE

WHAT IT IS LIKE TO WORK WITH ME

I bring a relaxed, conversational energy. I use humor, real talk, and zero pretense. With ADHD, impulsivity, or low motivation, telling a teenager to 'just try harder' never works. Instead, we break down why things feel frustrating, figure out how your brain actually works best, and build systems you won't hate using.

THERAPIST FIT

I WORK ESPECIALLY WELL WITH TEENS WHO…

01.

Male teens who are skeptical, resistant, or uncomfortable talking about emotions.

02.

Teens with ADHD, executive dysfunction, procrastination, or motivation struggles.

03.

Teens experiencing identity questions, low confidence, or social awkwardness.

04.

Parents struggling with screen time battles and communication disconnects.

THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

HOW I WORK

I combine practical behavioral strategies with relational connection. I utilize ADHD coaching techniques, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. The focus is always on actionable steps, self-advocacy, and helping teens build confidence from the inside out.
